one of the places we wanted to see was kawasan falls. if you see any travel pictures of cebu, you would definitely see whale sharks (more on that later) and the crazy blue waters of the kawasan falls!
and because we have a vehicle crazed little dude and a regular car is too mainstream, we got a jeepney arranged for our day trip! typically these jeepneys are packed FULL of communters with people, their shopping and live stock bursting out from the back. so i guess this lonely rider doesn't really do it justice! but it was still fun to be able to give it a go!!
the hike to the falls was about 30 mins, very pleasant and easy! in fact, am pretty sure you're able to drive most of the way up! we did it in flipflops!
what did i tell you about the blue?? it was insane!
first we did when we got here was nab a seat right up close to the waterfalls because we knew that this guy would want to jump in for a dip! also hired him a life vest just in case. but he ended up playing with other kids around the edge, using their life vest as a boat or a seat.
we always had an adult watching over him like a hawk!
then he saw these adults going through the waterfalls on rafts! and decided he would do it too!! it was mad!! of course we sent a chaperon even though none of us really wanted to get into the water! hah

he was so so happy and proud that day that he went through the waterfall! such good fun!
