one of the things we enjoyed the most was our neighborhood. because my in-laws flew in to meet us this trip, we thought to have everyone under the same roof which worked out beautifully because we'd wake up "late" to the sound of blake having a ball with his grandparents!
our lovely house had a red door!!
we also chose paddington because of how cute the hood was! it was walking distance from a number of nice restaurants, pubs and stores, had a weekend market to nosy around and a handful of parks to run around in. we especially loved rushcutters bay park!
the view was stunning and tonnes of dogs, kiddies and people out running around!!

there was also a decent sized kiddy playground that we loved. it was gated and near the kiosk which served pretty decent grub and coffee!
our bubbie LOVES raisin toast!!
it was just beautiful sitting out in the sun with our morning cuppa while keeping an eye on the bubs!! he loved saying hi to every single dog, watching older kids play ball games and picking up sticks. on one occasion, we found him lying under a tree watching mr sun peek through the leaves.. it was such a darling sight!
and lots of cuddles from grandpa doesn't hurt too!
we'd die to live near a park like this in singapore! shame about the lack of space and crazy warm weather!!
