five things:: from iherb

a girlfriend recently recommended a multivitamin for the baby, who had been catching cold bugs from every single thing. we take him for a swim.. sniffles. he goes for music class.. phlegm-y cough.
out for a busy weekend.. bronchitis. quite frustrating!! and the multivitamin was available from iherb.com which ships nutritional supplements and other healthy products from usa.

their shipping is pretty reasonable but i got a shipping code from other mummy friends for $10 off which completely sweetens the deal! so i hopped on and got the multivitamin..

and a few other small things! :)

we're using this on our upcoming beach vacay!

stocked up on aromatherapy oils.. we usually use lavender and lemongrass at home but i read that eucalyptus is great to help with respiratory tract infections, coughs and colds!!
(when it comes to baby blake.. we leave no stone unturned..)

and mostly... filled my box up with tonnes of baby snacks!

ok confession. i was one of those mum that didn't believe in snacking. cos we've both got a BAD snacking habit. we eat so much junk that when it comes to meal-time, we're uninspired. so we thought to impart good eating habits since young yadayada-stuff-you-read-in-parenting-books. so intentionally didn't introduce snacks to the baby. only good & warm wholesome meals..

then...

we went on a playdate.

and while the other kids had a snack break, i had nothing to offer blake. so he went around, rolling behind all the other kids, vacuuming up their snack crumbs and bits off the table top. *parenting face palm moment* such a sad moment.

since then, i caved and started carrying little nibbles for him! ;)

got this food sock for him nibble on his fruit!
(its a winner!!)

we got to pick an organic lip balm to try!!

and our box arrived 3 days after placing the order! how fabulous! we're definitely restocking our candle, pet shampoo and vitamin supplies from them in future! (thanks for the recommedation, e!)

if you'd like to give them a go, you can use our referral code CHM768 upon checkout for $10 off your first purchase of more than $40 ($5 off if your total is less than $40)!! happy shopping!!

p.s. if you try anything that's amazeballs, please let me know!!
i wanna copycat!!

  3. I was told by one of the nurse at my local clinic that using Lavender oil causes boy babies to have.... boobs.... is that true? As in, have you noticed baby B developing a pair? haha this is such a stupid question, but I really am curious.

  4. Do try Happy Yogis Organic Yoghurt Melts ... Healthy snack that has probiotics that helps with digestion . I didn't use I herbs because I Hv a fussy eater so he could like something today but may reject it the next days. But my son loves the happy puffs . The vegetable and apple ones until today! Helps to keep him quiet on the car seat too!
