reckless ericka

i've been holding back on writing about singapore because it feels silly sharing things that are new to me but not really THAT new to the world! im still playing catch up with the new things that popped up in the last few years so i still feel like a little tourist!! everything is picture-worthy and oh-so-exciting when its like boring everyday things, y'know?

over the weekend, i was running errands when i snuck in a little shopping time! (sneaky i know!) i remembered a girlfriend recommending reckless ericka. next thing i knew, i was loving almost everything in the store and trying on a tonne of stuff. my prerequisite was something comfy, easy to nurse in and not fussy to launder. in the end, i picked three pieces!

ribbon cocoon dress (originally 79 dollars but now on 50%)

i LOVED how flattering this super soft dress is. it feels like a slouchy tee shirt i've owned like forever. you can wear it with the bow at the front but i found this less distracting!

S-dress (originally 79 dollars but now on 50%)

this one was even softer and draped beautifully! you can wear it in several ways. i liked it as it is. but in this picture, i scrunched it up at the hip to create an asymmetrical hemline.

the sweet lady in the store also suggested that i could twist the dress around to make it shorter. m'kay... im not sure about the lumpy bulges on my side but maybe its just my non-existent waistline. this was daniel's favorite.

cascade tank (49 dollars)

but THIS was my favorite piece! cos its soo fun to wear. in this picture, its worn as a dress with a cool v-hemline. all pieces come in multiple colors but toting a baby around town introduces all kinds of unwelcomed stains on your clothes. so i went for safer shades.

i love wearing it this way with shorts! or a sparkley mini skirt!

check out the cool cape behind! i feel like a superhero in this!

don't you love how versatile the pieces are? it's almost like owning multiple pieces of clothing! they recommend their pieces to be hand-washed and dried on a large surface instead of hung. but im going to throw it into a mesh bag and try machine wash it. will report back if it doesn't work (or actually, you'll just not see me ever wear it again if i ruin it! hah)

i also liked this piece a lot but didn't want to buy everything at one go. so imma pace myself!
there is this other awesome dress that i want my mom to check out.
*cough*so i can borrow..*cough*
so i guess i'd be back later this week!

xx
