the search for backpack is ON (again)...

backpacks make me think of schooldays. but in not a very trendy kinda way. earlier this year, i decided that a backpack was a great idea while zipping around on the bicycle. but had so much trouble finding a backpack that isn't leather (for fear of rain/spillage), relatively light and chic, i threw in a towel...

now im back again! this time inspired by my recent day out in town.
i was holding up traffic juggling a flopsy baby in one arm, a tote on my shoulder (which kept slipping off thanks to my non-existent shoulder blades!), a stroller in the other hand, a few random bits and pieces and oh! my bubble tea in the other hand.. wait did we run out of hands already?

everyone was probably thinking "get that lady a backpack!" either that or
"she really shouldn't have commited to the bubble tea..." and because the latter is not an option, im back to the drawing board.

with a lack of new bag-spiration, i thought maybe i could go with something simple!

the husband would vote for black but i was thinking this blue or pink?
wadaya think?

p.s. i welcome any backpack suggestions!

xx

  1. I think a backpack would be cute, functional and, yes, a little schoolish. But that's not a bad thing. Nerdy chic is very 'in' these days. I'll keep my eyes open and send you any cool backpack ideas I find. :)

  3. I don't have recs for a backpack but see if you can get a cup holder for your stroller. It's so convenient for times when you have a drink in your hand. When you don't you can throw stuff like your phone in there too.

there is a website that kinda does comparisons for backpack ideas.. maybe you can look thru it and see if anything jumps out at you? =) they even have ideas if mom and dad are going to be "sharing" that backpack! =)

  7. How about a crossbody sling? They leave your hands free too, and you don't have to take the whole thing off to rummage through it. I bike with one too.

(And congrats on Blake's first month!)
