relocating our fluffy-bums :: one month update

i was lamenting to my mom just the other day that these days, instead of receiving regular "hey there!" and "wanna hang?" text messages, i keep receiving "how's muu doing today?"...

she very gently let me down...
"once you have kids, darling, its never about you anymore..."
such wise words..

but muu's been doing fantastic!
(spot him playing tennis?)

due to limitations of singapore airlines, we had to check him in his pet carrier even though he was tiny and well within international hand-carry size. (and paid for a little pet air-ticket which was the cutest thing!) we were most worried about the actual journey and at each stage, the first thing we'd ask "is our dog alive?". but he made it without much fuss. and because his papi tackled a mountain of paperwork, he was imported with no quarantine! yayy! :)

because the weather in singapore is so nice these few weeks,
he's been on more walks than ever and hardly uses our indoor bathroom anymore!
(less cleaning yayy!)

muu also adores his gramma who comes visit him almost everyday, i kid you not.
and gives him regular grooming and dresses him up in baby clothes.

we did notice that the poor bub is less keen on his meals. its the same food but instead of inhaling his dindins in 20 seconds flat, we now need to coax, encourage and occasionally bribe him to finish his food. perhaps its time to change his daily mix a little. we can't find our current japanese brand in singapore! if there are any fluffy parents out there with recommendations, please drop us a note!

other than that, our little trooper is enjoying the additional attention, play dates and loves being in singapore! just like his papi! :)

xx

  2. That's my fear too if we ever relocate! The constant worry if the dog is alive part.

    1. indeed! the entire flight with every slight noise or bump, i would pout and tell daniel that i wanna go into the holding cabin to check on muu (which was totally out of the question obviously!!)

  3. What are you currently feeding Muu? We give our dogs Wellness Core kibbles. It's expensive but we like that it's grain free and made with good quality ingredients.

  4. we give our little dog artemis adult small breed food, which we order in giant bags from amazon. i also try to cook something to mix in every week, like braising some sole in chicken broth and flaking it. it really only takes a few extra minutes while i'm cooking dinner sunday night and then we're set for the week, and our dog loves the little homemade treat (and we like knowing exactly what she's eating). i used to think cooking for your dog was insane but now i think it's worthwhile.
