let's talk about hugs...

since my tummy started showing a while ago, i noticed that i've not been getting GOOOOD hugs. i've noticed a variation of side hugs, or sympathetic pat on the back or most recently, i was hugging a similarly preggo-pal which got daniel laughing! he imitated us in our "hug" which looked more like two awkward japanese business men in a 90 degree bow with flailing limp arms.
(of course he got into trouble after but it was funny for a second..)

and in the past week, i've demanded "gimme a proper hug!!" a few times!!!
only to be met with "but i don't wanna crush the baby!!"

are you huggy-feeling kinda person?

p.s. this pictures from our wedding makes me tear up a little.
(p.p.s. many things make me tear up these days!)

p.p.p.s. i could do with a good ole tummy to tummy hug this morning!!
just sayin'!

  1. Hm. I haven't hugged a pregnant person in a while, but mostly during any woman-hug I try not to let our boobs touch. I think it's weird. And then I wonder if they're thinking the same thing but we're both just being polite about it. So, usually I go for the boob-less hug.

Come to think of it, I don't really hug anyone really tightly. Except my fiance, but I haven't seen him since May.

Hm, I can't believe it's been that long since I've had a good hug.

Don't you love how your simple blog post as made another random person in the universe analyze a similar aspect of their own life?
But in the end we come to the same conclusion: we both need a really good hug!

P.S. sorry about the rambling comment, haha
