parenthood.. the real deal!

inspired by su fern, i started crocheting little amigurami toys!
but one of the things i have to repeatedly make is...

this same old silly mousie pattern..

i know its not the sexiest of all crafts but it's because this is dear musashi's favorite toy and it take him exactly 10 mins to rip it apart. (we've tried replacing it with store-bought toys but with zero luck!)
currently, it still takes me close to 25 mins to complete one whole mousie.

im working on beating his record.

  1. Really?! It's his favourite? =)It's cute that you made so many ears to repair it. Awesomely cute!

How about trying a hardier material to make it?

    1. i can't repair it!! what's gone is gone!! i remake the whole darn thing. sometimes he attacks the tail sometimes the ear!! the last pattern (yours) he attached the nose!!

      he's unpredictable like that!!

p.s. i will try a better material next time!! good tip! maybe metal wires! :)

    2. Metal might hurt. How about hemp or twine?

  5. Get the babies toys from ikea. They last super long and don't perish as easily as the toys from pet ships. Maki has 2 and it has lasted more than a yr! And it's so cheap ($4 only)!
