i grew up in a family that always has weekends packed full with classes, zoo trips and visits to my grandma. i kinda miss the crazy noise that comes with big chinese families...
but in recent years we've become accustomed to lazier and slower weekends.
last weekend, we woke up really slow...
and had a lazy lunch date with these two...
(excuse muu's bit of food hanging out from his mouth... he's a messy eater)
he likes his own seat where he can see what everyone is doing...
we always have the pasta lunch set at canal cafe.
the weather was too beautiful so we took a long walk in the neighbourhood and visited yasukuni shrine before dropping in for a cuppa coffee.
our little family before we crashed in bed for a loooong nap!!
muu loves weekends like these!
(lol his face!)
xx
haha... muu got that 'scared of deer' look in the 2nd last pic :)
ReplyDeletehe does! :) i call that his "crazy eyes" he does that when he is unwillingly pulled into the shot! hahaha...
DeleteJust have to say it again and again, that, Mu is super duper cute! i love the peek-a-boo tongue!
ReplyDeletethanks hon! :) these puppies really know the way to your heart, huh? *sigh*

ReplyDeletethanks hon! :) he really does know how to pose in front of the camera! he's been well-trained by his papi!
DeleteHAHAHAHAHAHA muu-kun's eye! XD
ReplyDeleteAhhh I know which weekends you are talking about! At home it was the same...I think my mum was more tired after the weekend that before it came. Frantic house cleaning, taxi-ing us to sunday Chinese school, the swimming pool, or visiting Windsor Great park, the mall, the zoo, grandparents house, etc. So much hustle and bustle! They still do similar things every weekend but I am just not with them! XD
oh man! hahah! I guess my family is not alone in that!! :) it was so much work on my poor mummy im sure she didn't look forward to weekends! :)
DeleteMuu is so sweet and looks really happy - enjoy these lazy weekends while you can LOL! xxx
ReplyDeleteman! people keep telling us that! i think there much be some truth in it!!! :)
Deletegosh i love muu's face! he's too cute la! Love that last picture!!!
ReplyDeletei do wish there are more dog-friendly restaurants in Singapore to bring Maki.
ReplyDeleteme too! :) i heard the garden slug allows doggies!!
Deletedoes maki like going out?
truth is... muumuu is on the fence. i think he has fun when he's out running about. but each time we come home, he acts like we MADE him run a marathon and passes out for a few hours!!
Maki LOVES going out. he will run to his dog-carrier each time we head into the room to change .. indicating that he wants to come along.
ReplyDeletewe usually head over to Robertson Q cos most of the restaurants there are doggy-friendly. and my fav jap bar is there too!
hahahhaa that's so cute!! muu takes the cue from us. if we grab his leash, he is excited. if not he runs into his pen and waits for us to give him a snack!!
Deletethe jap bar allows dog? thats so cool!!
