mothers day in tokyo

we got to spend the day with my mama and aunt this year when they were passing through tokyo enroute to hawaii. and since we don't get to be around for many special occasions, we decided to take everyone for brunch at one of our favorite places in town - beacon.

ma has recently started instagramming and facebooking
and is SOOOOOO into it.

ma with her little gift.
she held this pose for a good minute while calling out "daniel! daniel! daniel!" to get his attention for a shot. she cracks me up...

generous portions at beacon and their amazing bloody marys!!

my delish salad with the yummiest onion crisps!!

we looked like we just rolled out of bed here! :) but it was too early on sunday...

then we hit omotesando for a spot of shopping!!
but i hope my mummy enjoyed a nice little day...

thanks for having me, ma!
i love you a bazillion!

p.s. having an emo morning because we're sending our furball in today for an intense round of vaccination :( :( :(
