i finally completed blanket #2 for our friend's bub.
this little one traveled with me on vacation
and i thought about this baby a lot while working on it...
when i last spoke to my friend, she told me that at her last ultrasound, her bub was too shy so the gender is still a mystery! how cute...
(i secretly think she's a girl.)
a gender neutral blanket!
all wrapped up in bunting ready to keep one happy baby warm in winter..
i also sent her a love package with some of our favorite american toiletries and candles
to keep momma happy!
i can't wait till she receives them in the mail.
xx
you are ever so thoughtful...
ReplyDeleteawww thanks love! my friends bub would be born in the cold of winter! so i think she/he would appreciate it...
Deletefor a second, i thought this baby was an allender baby!
ReplyDeleteno mdm! :) not ours! our pals in korea!
Deletep.s. are you off to the big apple yet? can i add that im VERY jealous?
you are super sweet!
ReplyDeleteawwww she has been a fabulous friend and i wanna be there in the cot with the baby! (so im sending the blankie as a representative!) lol
Deletethat's too cute! wow you're doing so well with crocheting! you're such a crafty and thoughtful friend. seriously how do you find the time??
ReplyDeletei had a 16 hour flight to hawaii x 2! :)
DeleteThat must have taken you a long time to make. Beautiful result.
ReplyDeletethanks lisa! if i didn't get distracting along the way by other crafts it would have be a lot faster!! :) but its tiny so it was a relatively quick project!
DeleteLike! How many balls of yarn did you use for a baby blanket like that?
ReplyDelete4 balls of each color! I initially got some silver to go in between the pink and navy stripes but didn't work too well so the blanket ended up being smaller!
ReplyDeleteI love the design!
ReplyDeletei was going for a little preppy! not sure if that came through with crochet! :)
Deletethis is so professional looking! nice work. :)
ReplyDeleteyayyyy! thanks! :)
