winter recipes:: kimchi chigae

in winters, im all about my soups and stews. which is great cos my culinary skills are largely limited to these categories anyway!! but one of the things i often crave for is kimchi chigae. i really appreciate its hot and spiciness and how difficult it is to mess this dish up!!

key ingredients:: garlic, kimchi, sliced pork (or bacon), chilli powder, gojujang, sesame oil, sugar & soysauce.
optional:: leek, beansprouts, toufoo, carrots and whatever you can find in your fridge.

1- stirfry the garlic and pork.
2- throw in the kimchi for flavor.
3- add water and all the condiments, bring it to a boil
4- throw in all the rest of the fixings and let it boil on low heat.

and serve with a bowl of hot rice.

now, cuddle up with your nearest and dearest and play footsie under the table!
stay warm, loves!

xx
