travels:: an ode to pho

 this is what i had every single meal. 

i kid you not.

the boy thought it was ridiculous when i ordered my midnight fix of pho from the room service menu. the forth pho in a day but still very delicious!!

my favorite one was from a local chain, pho 2000, a superior cousin to the more common pho 24. i loved all the squirty hoisin, chilli sauce, fish sauce and the tonne of condiments and greens they let you throw into the bowl, all for 45000 vnd ($2)!! holy smokes...

hmmmm... i could do with a bowl right now!
