co-sleeping with pets:: do or don't?

we gave in and now little musashi cuddles in bed with us before bedtime and first thing in the mornings. he still sleeps in his "crate" most of the night but we figured it doesn't make a difference if he sleeps next to us or in the bathroom. 

i know we're such softies but how do you say no to this?

sometimes i think we do it more for us than for him. puppy kisses are the best medicine for morning blues. and it makes me sooo happy!
