D&Z: the muffins in their wedding gear...

when i saw this at the wedding, i knew my life is complete.

we didn't want any pictures taken before the wedding. cos daniel was not seeing the dress before the ceremony and i personally think its kinda weird to take wedding pictures another wedding dress that's not yours. so we made a call and decided to not do it at all. save as few pretty pennies too. but as the saying goes, luck has a peculiar habit of favoring those who don't depend on it, and our photographer decided to do a casual shoot of us in between weddings.

we had zero expectations. packed up our dresses and did a half day of shoots in the cold. a little drizzle, a lot of gloom but three really happy and choc-high people went around time without a care in the world. we didn't even care to pick a song. and she picked this beautiful song that i love so so very much. anyway, enough talking! please enjoy it! if you have problems with my vid-embedding, click here!

it was a little romantic, a little dramatic with a whole lot of daniel & zhing fun! :)

i hope it makes your heart tingle like it did to ours!

xx,
mrs allender.

  6. Hi Zhiying, beautiful pics - you guys look so natural and happy! :)
Congrats on your upcoming move to Japan! I think you must be sooo happy! I read your blog and see you guys constantly shifting here and dere.
Would like your advice on how i can research on employment overseas (USA etc) cos i really need to get outta tiny sg! Jobstreet and streetdb doesn't work, and i don't wanna get conned into some illegal immigration stuff. Would really appreciate if if you could give me some tips or contacts.
Currently, me and a few of my friends are lookin for jobs and we have different backgrounds - finance, design. Where should we start?
    :) Thank you so much!

  10. hi there!
thanks for popping by! :) we do move countries real often. its quite an adventure but after years of moving home, we're actually a little displaced and itching to find ONE country to settle down and set up a home and routine. oh well, maybe age is really catching up with us.
with regards to overseas employment, there are jobsearcher out there that will put you in touch with the right companies. thus far, i've not had much experience with them though. each time we've moved, we move because we already secured a job and it relocates us. so pretty easy peasy!
but finance & design are both very popular and easily transferrable careers so im sure you'll have no problems!
thanks for reading! and for dropping in a note! and apologies if my comment is not too helpful! :)

  18. awwwwww.. we're so blessed with such talent around us! *sigh* i think thats one of the things i cared A LOT about.. having nice wedding (day) pictures.. i'd be completely broken if i got those flash in face, point and shoot ones! :)
thanks for compliments. but we're TERRIBLE models. yixin can vouch for that. she concluded our day shoot with the theory that if she leaves us to it, we pose decently. the minute she gives us instructions, we goof up! :)

  28. yeah!! i guess you call those green hedges!! *shrug* they were found in the garden of our venue. wished we could have gotten married in that courtyard but it was too cold and dark by 6pm in winter.. :)
exactly man! only the married will understand the dilemma of having too many cute shots!! then again, we don't have a house to display them in, so i guess, no big problem there! :)
